The Illinois School of Health Careers offers diploma programs in several health care fields. Our programs are designed to quickly give you the skills, knowledge and take-charge attitude needed to succeed in one of these meaningful and fast-growing career fields. Externships are required for each program and provide valuable, "real-world" experience.
Programs:
Location: Our campus in the Chicago Loop is located on State Street, near Grant Park and Michigan Avenue. There are plenty of great restaurants, shops, theaters, museums, and more nearby. In addition to classrooms and labs, our campus has an x-ray room, computer room, library, and a student lounge. Admissions: Applications are reviewed on a continuous basis, so apply anytime! Our daytime classes are offered year-round. Our admissions offices can help you with the enrollment process. Financial aid: Students enrolled in our 600 clock hours programs may be eligible for federal financial aid in the form of loans or grants. Career Services and other Highlights: We keep class sizes small so that students and teachers are free to interact and students get the individual attention they need. Hands-on, "real-world" experience is emphasized both in the classroom and through externships. Faculty members are trained, practicing professionals that offer a great perspective on what the field is really like!
